Earlier this year, the World Boxing Association (WBA) announced a resolution earlier this year which ordered a heavyweight tournament with a series of fights to create a single world champion. At the moment the WBA super champion is Tyson Fury, the WBA regular champion is Ruslan Chagaev and the WBA interim champion is Luis Ortiz.

One of the one of the fights that were ordered would match Ortiz (24-0, 21 KOs) against Alexander Ustinov (33-1, 24 KOs).

According to the WBA, they have been unable to locate Ustinov. It's not often that a 6'8 fighter goes missing, but the sanctioning body has been unable to get a hold of him.

Ortiz already has a stay busy fight in place against Alexander Dimitrenko on March 5th.

As part of the original resolution, Ortiz-Ustinov had to reach an agreement no later than February 4, 2016. The period will be extended until Ustinov is located to determine if he indeed plans to take part in this contest.

Additionally, the Russian Federation of Boxing have disclosed to the sanctioning body that Vlad Hrunov does not have a license approved by them to work as promoter and/or manager for Ustinov.
