It was recently announced that Adrien “The Problem” Broner (35-4-1) would return to the ring on June 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock. Standing across the ring from him will be Blair “The Flair" Cobbs (16-1-1) who also recently signed with Don King.

The buildup to the fight should be very interesting as both fighters are known as much for their talking outside of the ring as they are for their fighting in the ring.

An interesting question will be who is in the corner of Broner on fight night.

Sources have told BoxingScene that world-class trainer Kevin Cunningham is no longer working with the former four-division champion.

The duo have worked together for several years, and there is no word as to the reason for their split.

Broner was last in action in June 2023 when he defeated Bill Hutchinson via unanimous in his first fight under the Don King Productions Banner and his second, both wins, since his loss to Manny Pacquiao in 2019.

Cobbs, who was formally promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, has been out of action since June 2022 when he outpointed former champion Maurice “Mighty Mo” Hooker in Texas. His only loss came in his prior fight against Alexis Rocha.
