Santa Fe - Junior welterweight Marcos Maidana (29-2-0, 27 KOs) warned today that in 2011 he wants to come back "with everything" to regain the world title that he lost at the hands of Britain's Amir Khan (24-1-0, 17 KOs) in their recent unification of the WBA titles.

"Now I'll rest with my family and recharge the batteries, because in 2011 I want to come in with everything and be a world champion as soon as possible," Maidana said.

"El Chino" and his team were greeted by the governor of the province of Santa Fe, Hermes Binner, who expressed his desire to personally greet the boxer after the great battle that occurred on December 11 in Las Vegas with Khan.

"The truth is I was very discouraged, but to reach all these people of Argentina, who said that I had a great performance ... and many of them saw my fight," said the 27-year-old Maidana.

Meanwhile, his adviser, Sebastián Contursi, said that there are offers for Maidana to return to ring in North America, Japan, Germany and Argentina in late March or April.

The company led by Oscar De La Hoya, Golden Boy Promotions, will define what is most convenient for Maidana in the coming weeks.
