The undefeated super-lightweight prospect, 11-0 (6 KOs), has been handed a spot on a show in his home city of Liverpool.

Lewis, who ended the challenge of Marek Laskowski in the final of eight rounds on June 4 to roll on as an unbeaten talent, is set to fight over eight once more on October 7.

The 24-year-old is trained by Paul and Mick Stevenson in the Everton Red Triangle gym and will join gym-mates Brandon Daord and John Quigley as part of MGM Liverpool’s inaugural show, which is being billed ‘Genesis’, at Greenbank Sports Academy.

No opponent has yet been nailed down for Lewis but he will feature alongside bill-topper James Metcalf, the rising super-welterweight star who is the son of former world champion Shea Neary, as well as former British middleweight title challenger Tom Doran and Scouser Ryan Moorhead.

Tommy Carus and Ged Carroll also have spots on the card, while Boxing Scene understands that there will be further names added to the bill in due course.
