The former International Boxing Federation (IBF) flyweight champion, Luis "El Mosquito" Lazarte (49-10-2, 18KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision in a rematch with Nicaraguan Nerys Espinoza (29-7). The IBF final eliminator headlined a big show at the Club Eleven States Stadium of Mar Del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lazarte is now in position for a third meeting with Mexico's IBF champion Ulises "Archie" Solis. The judges saw it as follows - 117-111, 117-111, and 116-113.

Lazarte previously won a twelve round decision over Espinoza last September. He then went to a controversial draw with Solis in December, and then a mandatory rematch was ordered with Solis winning a close twelve round decision.

"I want 'Archie' Solis. He took something that is mine," Lazarte said after the fight.
