It´s official: the fourth and final of the World Boxing Super Series Quarterfinals at super middleweight between Juergen Braehmer (48-3) and Rob Brant (22-0) will go ahead on October 27 at the Sport and Congresshall in Schwerin.

Braehmer has been residing for a number of years in Schwerin.

For the former WBA light heavyweight "regular" champ it will be his first fight in over a year and his first since losing the title to Nathan Cleverly. Braehmer has however stayed in the gym as he is also now a trainer and coaches among others current WBA super middle "regular" titleholder Tyron Zeuge.

EBU heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel (19-2) will, according to the EBU, make a long awaited defence of the title on November 4 in Monaco against Dereck Chisora (26-7) with Matchroom promoting.

Kabayel won the title in February and first had Pole Mariusz Wach as mandatory challenger but when he pulled out Kabayel was given permission for voluntary defence but no opponent was ever secured until now.  Kabayel vs Chisora is not yet confirmed by Matchroom.

The mandatory challenger for the EBU title - until very recently - was Dillian Whyte - and according to press in Finland there are ongoing talks with Robert Helenius, the Nordic Nightmare, about a showdown on October 28 in Cardiff on the undercard to Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev.

Helenius is currently in London sparring with Joshua. There have been some rumors of a showdown between Helenius and Swedish heavyweight Adrian Granat but that fight is not likely to happen this year. Also off is Helenius vs Dereck Chisora II that was announced for May 27 but postponed to a later date due to the poor ticket sales.
