WBA cruiserweight king Arsen Goulamirian (27-0) plans to defend the title on April 1 in Paris on a Y12 Promotion against a yet to be named opponent.

If all goes well a second defense and title unification is planned against WBO champ Lawrence Okolie (18-0), who of course must get past David Light for this to happen.

Team Dzemski and SES join forces for a show in Gorzig on January 21. On the bill are the prospects in the two teams which includes, welterweights Julian Vogel (9-0), and Marlon Dzemski (4-0), middleweight Robin Rehse (4-0) and super lightweight Tom Laska (5-0).

Swiss ex-pro Max Hebeisen (36-5-1) has passed away at the age of 75. Hebeisen participated in the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City where he lost to none other than Armando Muniz, later a world title challenger. As a pro he challenged future world champ John H Stacey in 1975 for the EBU welterweight title but was stopped in seven.

Swedish super lightweight Anthony Yigit (26-2-1) first accepted an offer to fight Yves Ulysse Jr in Canada but the promoters opted for another opponent. Anthony then accepted an offer to fight Adam Azim in the UK - but again the promoters choose another opponent.

Former world champion Felix Sturm (42-6-3) comes back again on February 18 in Stuttgart (Germany) against an opponent to be announced. Sturm lost to Istvan Szili (26-2-2) last time out which was in March of last year.

The soon to be 44-year old Sturm was one of the "old" Universum's biggest stars but his glory days are far behind him by now.
