SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO- Angel "Bebito" Aponte and Xánder Zayas kept their undefeated records intact at the Rubén Zayas Montañez Coliseum in Trujillo Alto, in a presentation by PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) in association with Spartan Boxing and Top Rank.

In the main event, San Juan native Aponte (8-0, 4 KOs) stopped unbeaten Mexican fighter Irving Macías (7-1, 4 KOs) in a super featherweight bout.

Aponte secured his TKO win at :01 of round seven. Macias' corner stopped the bout because a badldy bleeding nose was creating complications for the Mexican boxer, who visited the canvas in the first round. Aponte was cut on his right eye.

In another of the main bouts, 17-year-old Top Rank prospect, Puerto Rican prospect Xánder Zayas (4-0, 3 KOs) made his pro debut in his Puerto Rico, as he put away Marklin Bailey (6-7, 4 KOs) of the United States.

Zayas beat Bailey by TKO at 1:14 of the third round. The Puerto Rican dominated the entire way with his speed and combinations to the head and body. Bailey, who was cut on his right eye, had no answers. After a solid combination from Zayas the referee had seen enough and stopped the action in round three.
