Frank Warren, co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, would love to have two-time champion Anthony Joshua at ringside for Fury's upcoming fight Dillian Whyte.

Fury is scheduled to make a mandatory defense against Whyte on April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London.

"Of course [Joshua] can come along to the show. He’s been a guest at loads of my shows before he turned professional, he used to come along to the shows. He knows what to do, pick up the phone and we’ll sort him out," Warren told IFL TV.

Joshua suffered a career setback when he was outboxed over twelve rounds last September, in his showdown with Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The British star was hoping to reclaim the WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO titles by facing Usyk in a contracted rematch, but that scenario is now on hold - with Usyk returning to his homeland of Ukraine to assist with the military resistance against the ongoing attack by Russia.

One of Warren's other boxers, Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce, is in line to get a mandatory shot at the WBO strap.

Warren would embrace the opportunity to match Joyce against Joshua.

Joyce was in action in July of last year, when he stopped world title challenger Carlos Takam in six rounds at Wembley Arena.

Warren believes a Joyce vs. Joshua clash would be a tremendous box office hit among domestic fans. Joyce and Joshua are very familiar with each other from their days in the amateur ranks with Team GB.

"I think the public would definitely buy into AJ-Joe Joyce. We’d make that in a heartbeat, Joe would fight him in a heartbeat. What a great domestic bust-up that is, let’s get our heads together and we’ll get that done," Warren said.
