For renowned Panamanian coach Celso Chavez, it's no surprise that his boxer Nicholas Walters will collide with Filipino Nonito Donaire in a WBA featherweight unification on October 18th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The fight will be the HBO televised co-feature to Gennady Golovkin's defense of the WBA/IBO titles against Marco Antonio Rubio.

"It's no surprise. It's what we expected because we are under the same promoter, we are both fighting at featherweight and we were participating on the same cards lately," Chavez said.

Regarding the fight, Chavez, without hesitation, said Walters will win and he doesn't rule out a win by knockout.

"Nicholas is in the prime of his career. Without abusing [our] confidence, I think the fight will not reach the limit," Chavez said.

He said the Jamaican boxer is already 50% physically prepared for the fight.

"Even a few weeks ago we was training in Los Angeles," said Chavez.

Donaire has a record of 33 wins (21 KOs) and two defeats, while Walters is unbeaten in 24 fights, and 20 of them by way of knockout.
