  • Comments Thread For: Walters' Trainer Expects Donaire To Get Knocked Out

For renowned Panamanian coach Celso Chavez, it's no surprise that his boxer Nicholas Walters will collide with Filipino Nonito Donaire in a WBA featherweight unification on October 18th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The fight will be the HBO televised co-feature to Gennady Golovkin's defense of the WBA/IBO titles against Marco Antonio Rubio.

"It's no surprise. It's what we expected because we are under the same promoter, we are both fighting at featherweight and we were participating on the same cards lately," Chavez said.

This is gonna be an awesome night of fights. 2 potential explosive matchups. Can't wait to see how Donaire handles another big puncher like wise with GGG.

Donaire is a good boxer with speed and that monster left hook. He also has a very good chin and much more experience. I'm going for Nonito in a good fight

Donaire's been in with power punchers, and also with taller, rangier guys like Mathebula. He'll know how to fight this guy.

Walters is overhyped right now. He beat a past-prime, over the hill, old and overweight Vic Darchinyan and now all of a sudden he's Godzilla.

Walters isn't even close to having the quality of scalps Nonito has.

                Donaire by vicious TKO.

Walters is going to finish what Rigo started. He will end it with a vicious KO. A victory for the Axe-Man.

Walters had an easier time with Darchinyan than Nonito did.

Walters is pretty tough, but Flash is special - Walters will be taylor made for Donaire's counter punching. He called team Walters bluff by asking for the fight, he will win in dynamic fashion - similar to when he KO'd Montiel. Everyone's jaw will drop..
