BoxingScene.com has been advised that a junior middleweight clash between unbeaten Austin Trout and Aussie Anthony Mundine is in play for early next year, with HBO televising.

Trout will first make his American television debut on the November 11th edition of ShoBox, against Japanese southpaw Yuki Nonaka. If he is impressive in his network debut, all roads point to a meeting with Mundine (42-4, 25 KOs) on HBO.

"This is very premature, but we're also having talks with HBO about a January fight with none other than the big mouth Anthony Mundine," Trout told BoxingScene.com. "They want me to be on the bill in January, they're trying to bring Mundine [to the U.S.]."

Mundine would first have to get past Rigoberto Alvarez, brother of Saul, in an Oct. 19th bout in Australia for the WBA interim title. Trout is currently the WBA's regular champion.
