WBA "regular" 154-pound champion Austin Trout (23-0, 13KOs) has no issue with traveling over to Australia to defend his title against mandatory challenger Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs), who on Wednesday secured his shot with a dominating decision win over Rigoberto Alvarez. Trout is already scheduled to fight on November 11, but wants to face Mundine next. There were discussions for the two of them to fight in Melbourne on August 24 but the deal fell through.

With Mundine recently stating that a fight won't happen because he's being blacklisted in America, Trout will solve that problem by heading over to Australia.

''Most definitely. I'd love to go to Australia,'' Trout told the Sydney Morning Herald. ''As a world champion, I feel like I must represent the world. What better way to gain fans around the world than to fight around the world? I've never met an Australian I didn't like, and have always wanted to visit the country.''
