Recently, former two division champion Tomasz "Góral" Adamek (39-1) had sparring sessions with Deric Rossy (22-2) and Israel Carlos Garcia (19-3) to prepare for the February bout with Jason Estrada. Adamek' trainer set it up where from the beginning his fighter starts at a very quick pace. During the sparring sessions, "Góral" had to repel furious attacks the Rossy. Adamek's team is making him train at a fast pace because they believe that Estrada will try to make it a fast-paced fight at the start.

The rounds of sparring with Garcia had a different look. Garcia would stay on the defensive and tried push Adamek back.  Adamek was very pleased to use his improved body attack. The exact same punches that weakened Banks and Gunn. His team shared their thoughts during the break and recommended for "Góral" to use a specific combination of punches during sparring. After training, the team, Adamak and manager Ziggy Różalski went to dinner. Everyone had a chance to present their views on Adamek's work in the gym and they discussed a few things for the fighter's future.
