Former world title challenger Thomas Dulorme (24-3) has advised BoxingScene.com that he has parted ways with Mayweather Promotions.

The 28-year-old welterweight signed with Floyd Mayweather's promotional outfit in late 2016 and made his debut in January, 2017 when he stopped Brian Jones at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on the James DeGale-Badou Jack undercard.

His most recent fight occurred 7 months later when he lost a razor thin decision to IBF #2 rated welterweight Yordenis Ugas on the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor undercard in Las Vegas. Both men hit the canvas in the exciting fight and two point deductions for low blows against Dulorme provided the margin of victory for Ugas.

Dulorme previously was part of Team Puerto Rico along with fighters such as Jose Pedraza, Orlando Del Valle and several other high profile prospects. Team Puerto Rico was promoted by the trio of Gary Shaw, Lou DiBella and Javier Bustillo.

He hopes to return to the ring in the very near future.

BoxingScene.com has been advised that rising featherweight prospect Jean Carlos "Chapito" Rivera (14-0 9 KOs) will return to the ring on August 10th against an opponent to be announced in the very near future. The fight takes place at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa, FL and will be televised in the United States as part of Telemundo's summer series.

The All Star Boxing promoted card will also include the 10 round bantamweight battle between Daniel Lozano (15-4) and Ricardo Espinoza Franco (20-2). Rivera lives in Orlando and is a big ticket seller in the state of Florida.

Rivera will have a quick turn around as he just fought on July 14th on the Regis Prograis-Juan Jose Velasco undercard in New Orleans where he blew out Angel Luna (11-4-1) less than half way through the first round.

The 22-year-old Puerto Rican has been on a quite a roll, stopping 4 out of his last 5 opponents.  Rivera, who is promoted by Top Rank, will be fighting for the second time in 2018 and is looking to fight at least one more time this year.
