Hulu Theater, Madison Square Garden, New York City - Lightweight Teofimo Lopez (16-1, 12 KOs) was in disbelief after losing his WBO, IBF, WBA titles to huge underdog George Kambosos (20-0, 10 KOs) on Saturday night.

The scores were 115-111 for Kambosos, 114-113 for Lopez and 115-112 for Kambosos.

Lopez, who came out with a vengeance in the first round, was dropped by a big right hand in the first shocker of the night.

As the fight played out, Kambosos defied the experts by taking Lopez's power shots and outboxing him as the fight played out.

Lopez dropped Kambosos hard in the tenth, but he was unable to finish him and ultimately seemed to punch himself out.

However, Lopez was confident he did enough to win the fight and felt robbed by the outcome.

“I won tonight man. Everybody knows that. The referee raised my hand. I won tonight. I don’t care what anybody says. I won tonight. At the end of the day I’ve been here, I’ve done that. I want to thank God. I want to thank everybody that came out tonight. Look. I ain’t no sore loser. I take my wins like I take my losses," Lopez stated.

"I’m a true champion. I came out here and I did what I had to do, I went out there and I did my best. I don’t care what anybody says man. I am as real as they come. This is ‘The Takeover’ man. We don’t stop, we keep coming. I love you all. I won this fight.

Lopez believes that he won at least ten of the rounds.

“I know what it is. I know how these people work. The referee knew I won tonight. Everybody knew I won tonight and I’m just thankful. I don’t believe it was a close fight at all. At the end, I scored it 10-2," Lopez said.
