BoxingScene.com had reported on Wednesday that a deal was close. Both sides have now agreed to fight. On April 13 in Germany, Felix Sturm (36-2-2, 15KOs) will defend his WBA middleweight title against former Universum stablemate, and ex-WBC champion, Sebastian Zbik (30-1, 10KOs).

The two fighters have agreed on the terms. They are only waiting for the WBA's approval because Gennady Golovkin is the mandatory challenger to Sturm and his side is expected to protest the finalization of this fight.

Sturm said - "Zbik has had a big mouth, but now its time to prove it in the ring, man against man. I've always said that I want to face the best in the world and that includes Zbik from the Hamburg stable of Universum."
