The stage is now set as undefeated 122-pound world champions are set to square off when WBC champion Brandon “Heartbreaker” Figueroa and WBO champion Stephen “Cool Boy Steph” Fulton Jr. will meet in a title unification.

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, the fight date was going to be moved off September 11 and is now taking taking place on Saturday, September 18.

The event will be televised live on Showtime in a Premier Boxing Champions event from the Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas.

Tickets for the live event go on sale today at 10 a.m. PT and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com. The event is promoted by TGB Promotions.

Figueroa vs. Fulton has been a much-discussed potential showdown for several years prior to the two unbeaten fighters joining the world championship ranks with career-best performances in 2021.

Fulton struck first, dominating then-unbeaten Angelo Leo to capture the WBO title in January, while Figueroa made his own statement in stopping two-division champion Luis Nery to capture the WBC strap in May.
