New York standout Andre Rozier has a busy weekend, with two of his charges gunning for world titles live on Showtime PPV from the Mohegan Sun Resort in Connecticut, USA.

Topping the card this coming Saturday evening is Team Havoc’s ‘Technician’ Sergiy Derevyanchenko who challenges Jermall Charlo for the WBC middleweight title.

Rozier discussed the Ukrainian’s chances against Charlo this weekend. He said, “I’m excited about this fight. I really believe it’s Sergiy’s time. There are strong arguments that he should already be a world champion, as many people still see him as an undefeated fighter. I believe he will fulfill his destiny on Saturday night and become the middleweight champion of the world.

“Sergiy has trained as a machine for this fight. He’s never looked so good. The team has done a great job and it’s always fantastic working with Gary Stark Sr in camp and ‘little brother’ Sergiy Korchynskyy Jr. The team spirit is fantastic and the application to the job at hand is unrivaled. I can’t see past a destructive victory for the Technician in this fight.”

Rozier also heads up the training duties of undefeated bantamweight Duke Micah who has his sights set on dethroning 3 weight world champion John Riel Casimero in what could be a fight of the night. The Brownsville born Rozier opened up on his Ghanaian charges prospects on Saturday night.

Rozier said, “Duke has been over here six months and he’s barely missed a day in the gym. The Havoc team has worked with him day and night through it all. He’s such a dedicated kid and I really want to see him win this fight. Duke always comes to fight and I can guarantee fireworks on Saturday night when he fights Casimero.

“Casimero is a great fighter, but to be the best you’ve got to beat the best and Casimero is one of the elite fighters in the lower weight classes but Duke will be in there to put on a performance of a lifetime and upset the odds on Saturday night.”

Rozier recently announced that his management company has partnered with world leaders MTK Global. Rozier gave an insight into his day to day business during training camps.

Andre said, “I work ridiculous amounts of hours, balancing training camps in different locations and the management side of the business, but I have a great team who help me with that. Gary Stark Sr, Terrence, and my nephew Curtis help on the training side and I have my alabaster nephew Chris working on the management front. It’s hard but we balance it correctly and effectively.

“The link-up with MTK Global is huge for boxing all over the USA. We have a fantastic stable of talent under our own management, and alongside MTK Global I am very excited for the future and all the exciting possibilities that will become a reality with Havoc and MTK Global.”
