Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr., at one time, was the pound for pound king of boxing. Now the pound for pound king is Floyd Mayweather Jr. - which Jones fully agrees with. Mayweather is slated to return on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The frontrunner opponent for May is former champion Amir Khan. Many believe the fight will be a mismatch. Not Jones. If Khan sticks to boxing, and not slugging, Jones feels Khan can give Mayweather some problems.

"I think its a good match for him. People don't think so but they don't really know Amir Khan that well. Amir Khan is a very good boxer. As a slugger, he's no good because his chin is a little bit sensitive. But as a boxer he can give anybody problems. If he can get his old self back together, and gets back to boxing, it will be an interesting fight. He is tall enough and rangy enough to make it hard to get to him. He is one kid that can make it very interesting because of his skills and his height," Jones said.
