Román “Chocolatito” González, a rising star in Nicaragua, is on the road to achieve greatness, took in his brief but resounding two round knockout victory against the Mexican boxer Francisco "La Chiquita" Rosas, which happened last weekend in Japan, and he also revealed his plans and desires for the future.

The remarkable fighter, who is growing strong and revered, and provoking comparisons with national Nicaragua boxing icons such as Alexis Argüello and Rosendo Alvarez, came back home to attend a press conference, in which also spoke of God, money and his relations with the government and President Daniel Ortega.

"Firstly, I feel a great satisfaction because I think I've done my duty to have defeated Rosas. Before I left, I said I was well prepared, now the story would be different than in Oaxaca, where I was in poor health and I said that Rosas would not last long the second time around," Gonzalez said.

"Now what I can do is think about my future, my next fight. And honestly, I want to fight against Giovanni Segura (108 super world champion in the WBA and WBO), rather than with Juan Carlos Reveco (the regular 108 champ of the WBA). The stock market decides everything, but if I could choose I would go with Segura. I want that fight and I know I can win."
