SES will stage Medhi Amar´s defence of the EBU light heavyweight title against former WBO super middleweight king Robert Stieglitz (49-6-1) on November 12 at the Getec Arena in Magdeburg.

SES won purse bids for the right to stage the fight with an offer for over 85 000 Euro. Amar (31-4-2) won the then vacant title in May with a points win over Serhiy Demchenko.

The Czech leg of SES will stage a show on October 22 in Karlovy Vary with WBO Euro super welterweight titleholder Stephan Horvath (17-5) headlining along with female stars Fabiana Bytyqi (8-0 and WBC Youth female minimumweight queen) and featherweight Lucie Sedlackova (7-0-1).

Sunday action - While the biggest fights in Europe took place on Saturday, there were some interesting fights on Sunday as well. In Rebecq (Belgium) Poland based Ukrainian welterweight Mykola Vovk (11-1) stopped local man Cedric Tita (8-9-1) in the sixth to win the vacant WBFed Intercontinental title.

In the co-feature Matingu Kindele (8-5) won the vacant WBFed International crown with a unanimous decision over Evariste Kabongo (9-9-3). After ten the three judges all had it 97-93 for Kindele.

In Hamburg (Germany) Dominican middleweight Rafael Bejaran (23-2) retained the WBC EurAsia Pacific title with a unanimous points win over Estonian Pavel Semjonov (17-5-2). Bejaran won on scores of 120-108 twice and 119-109 in headliner of this show at the Delphi Sportpalast.  The 34-year old Bejaran is a very good fighter but lacks punching power.
