On October 4 at the Jako-Arena in Bamberg, Germany, Raul "El Diamante" Marquez (41-3, 29 KOs) gets his mandatory title shot at IBF middleweight champion King Arthur Abraham (27-0, 22 KOs). Marquez sits down with BoxingScene.com to talk about the fight.

BoxingScene.com: Raul, very soon you will be fighting for the world title held by Arthur Abraham. How is your preparation for fight?

Raul Marquez: I'm training hard as always. Conditioning is very important.

BoxingScene.com: Where are you going to prepare for fight?

Raul Marquez: In hot and humid Houston, Texas.

BoxingScene.com: What does this fight mean to you? Do you see this as your last possibility to become the world champion?

Raul Marquez: It's a do or die fight, it means everything. The future for me and my family and bigger fights in the future.

BoxingScene.com: What do you know about the champion? About his strong and weak qualities?

Raul Marquez: He is a strong, smart and powerful fighter. You will see his weaknesses when I beat him.

BoxingScene.com: At what expense do you think you see yourself putting out to beat Arthur Abraham?

Raul Marquez: I would not be going to Germany if I didn't think I could beat him.

BoxingScene.com: You fought better known fighters than Arthur Abraham, but you lost those fights. Do you think the experience of those fights will help you here?

Raul Marquez: Yes. I fought and defeated much better fighters than Abraham. Styles make fights and I feel that I have the style to beat him.

BoxingScene.com: Is there any fear about fighting in Germany, where the judges may help the champion?

Raul Marquez: I would not be in this sport if I was afraid. The fight will be seen on TV. The people watching will be the judges incase there is some controversy.

BoxingScene.com: Do you expect to win by knockout?

Raul Marquez: It doesn't matter. I just expect to win.
