Olympic gold medalist Rakhim Chakhkiev will take part in an all-Russian showdown with Maxim Vlasov on December 3 in Moscow.

At stake will be the International championship of the World Boxing Association (WBA) at the cruiserweight limit.

Vlasov joined the cruiserweight division in June of this year when he knocked out Ukrainian Ismail Sillakh in the third round. All in all the 30-year-old athlete has a record of 35 wins (18 by knockout) and two defeats.

In his last fight, Chahkiev knocked out Argentine Alejandro Emilio Valori in the second round of actions. The total assets the 33-year-old Chahkiev includes 26 wins (19 by knockout) and two defeats.

The main event of the evening on December 3 will be the fight between World Boxing Association (WBA) and International Boxing Federation (IBF)cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev and compatriot Murat Gassieva.

Earlier this year, Lebedev pulled off one of his most impressive victories with a two round destruction of Victor Emilio Ramirez to unify the WBA/IBF world titles before a frenzied crowd in Moscow, Russia.

The victory raised the 36-year-old's record to 29 wins (22 by knockout) and two defeats. Gassiev is one of Russia's most promising up and coming boxers. In his last fight, he had very scary knockout of Jordan Shimmell. The 22-year-old Gassiev, who is promoted by Warriors Boxing in the United States, has a record of 23 wins (17 by KO) and no losses.
