The weight are in for the big middleweight fight on May 1st at the Sport Complex Krylatskoe in Moscow, Russia. WBO champion Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15KOs) will defend his title against challenger Nobuhiro Ishida of Japan (24-7-2, 9KOs). The champion weighed in first, and he was 158-pounds. But Ishida stunned obvservers by coming in overweight on his first attempt, at 161.2. He weighed in a second time, after receiving up to two hours to sweat it off, and lost nearly four pounds.
