Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas - Long lines of people were waiting to have their autographs and pictures with the world champion and the challenger. A lot of hype is building for the battle between WBC super flyweight champion Tomás "Gusano" Rojas, and mandatory Juan José "Goofy" Montes, which takes place on Saturday in a fight presented by Zanfer and broadcast by TV Azteca.

"As a boxer, this is very motivating. After several weeks of arduous preparation, concentration, diet; that being at a public event where so many people are supporting you and asking for an autograph and pictures and you know they are going to spend some money to see you fight - it motivates you to give everything in the ring and to offer a great fight," said "Gusano" Rojas, who is already at the required weight.

For his part, "Goofy" Montes admitted that the environment of a world championship fight is new to him and he was impressed by the large number of people present at the autograph session.

"This is very exciting. I enjoy it as much as the people for which I'm fighting for. I know that  "Gusano" has more experience than me, but I'm not feeling like less of a fighter when I face him. I want to be world champion and if I have to knock him out to achieve my goal, I'll do it," said Montes, who was besieged with requests for photographs by a large sector of the female audience.
