Ford Center in Frisco, Texas - A 10-round junior welterweight fight between Javier Fortuna and Adrian Granados ended in a no-decision after Fortuna appeared to hit his head while falling backward out of the ring during the fourth round. Fortuna was placed in a neck brace and taken away on a stretcher. (photos by Ryan Hafey and Stacey Verbeek).

Granados (18-6-2, 11KOs) and Fortuna (33-2-1, 23KOs) both came out firing shots in the first round. During the fourth, Granados and Fortuna were clinching along the ropes, when Fortuna fell backward through the ropes, and seemed to hurt his neck as he fell back. He then complained of pain and lack of movement. As a precautionary measure, Fortuna was stabilized with a neck brace and removed from the ring on a stretcher.
