The action started at a very quick pace with both fighters landing punches. In the second, Crowley was taking the fight to Abdukakhorov and rocked him more than once. Abdukakhorov was targeting the body, but Crowley kept coming. At the end of the round, Abdukakhorov dropped Crowley with a right hand.

The third was more fire-fighting, with the two boxers trading shots. Crowley continued to press forward and was throwing a lot of punches, while Abdukakhorov was looking to counter. The fourth was closer, but Crowley continued to really let his hands go on Abdukakhorov and was connecting often.

Crowley was doing a job on Abdukakhorov in the fifth. Abdukakhorov's left ear was bleeding badly. In the sixth and seventh, Crowley continued to outwork and outland Abdukakhorov. More of the same in the eight, as Crowley continued to press forward and was throwing a lot of punches with both hands. The final two rounds saw Abdukakhorov in near survival mode, as Crowley continued to press, punch and deliver punishment.
