A doubleheader which is going to have some fireworks, has been set for next Saturday night, August 30th, at the Grand Oasis Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions will promote the event.

A showdown between two legit punchers as Pablo Cesar Cano (27-4-1, 20 KO's) will collide with Juan Pablo "Che Che" Lopez (25-3-0, 21 KO's) in the main event. Cano is trying to bounce back after suffering three defeats in his last four fights. This past March he was upset by Fernando Angulo in nine rounds.  Lopez won his last two.

In the co-feature, Ricardo "Dinamita" Alvarez (23-3-3, 13 KO's) will return to action against Daniel "Cañerito" Ruiz (31-7-1, 22 KO's). Ricardo is looking to get back with a win after losing a decision to Sergio Thompson in March on the Canelo-Angulo undercard in Las Vegas.
