BoxingScene.com has been advised that 22-year-old Mexican Olympian Oscar Molina will not make his pro debut on Saturday at the Gimnasio Municipal Josué "Neri" Santos in Juarez, Mexico. The card is headlined by a super bantamweight fight between former champion Fernando Montiel (48-4-2, 37KOs) and Giovanni Caro (24-11-4, 19KOs).

According to Molina's promoter, Dan Goossen, the younger boxer started having issues with his left shoulder. After a medical examination, it was discovered that a cyst had developed and it was placing pressure on his shoulder, which affected the movement in his left arm.

Molina underwent a procedure on Tuesday to have the cyst removed. Goossen told BoxingScene that Molina's debut will get rescheduled to early 2013.

Goossen also promotes Oscar's twin brother, 2008 Olympian Javier Molina (11-1, 5KOs). Their older brother is unbeaten pro Carlos Molina (17-0-1, 7KOs), who faces Amir Khan on December 15th.
