The "regular" world featherweight champion of the World Boxing Association (WBA), undefeated Jamaican Nicholas "The Axe Man" Walters, finished his training on Tuesday at 128 pounds. Coach Celso Chavez has no doubt that Walters will be ripped and ready when he steps on the scale for Friday's weigh 126-pound weight limit. Walters will make the second defense of his belt against Armenian Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan, a former champion in two weight divisions.

Walters (23-0, 19KOs) vs. Darchinyan (39-6-1, 28 KOs) takes place this Saturday at the Cotai Arena at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Macau, China, and the fight will be televised through toprank.com. The card is stopped by South African Simpiwe "V12" Vetyeka, who defends the super WBA championship at 126-pounds, against former multi-division champion Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire.

On Monday, Walters had his final sparring session in Macau against left hander Yusuke Suzuke of Japan. The World Boxing Association has confirmed the officials - referee Raul Caiz Jr. of the United States, and judges Takeshi Shimakawa of Japan, Luis Pabon of Puerto Rico, and Francisco Martinez of New Zealand. The WBA supervisor will be Fiengo Aurelio of Panama.
