Knockouts features a sports theme. Hair is cut inside boxing rings by women -- the Knockouts Girls -- dressed as boxers.

The company named, as area developers for the state, Ron and Maggie DeComa, and Orlando and Joyce Gonzalez. The couples plan to open two stores at first, and then expand further during the next 10 years.

"When you walk into Knockouts, you feel like you just entered a special place for men," Ron DeComa said in a statement released by the company. "From the attractive female employees, to the comfortable leather chairs where you can sit and watch the 47-inch widescreen TV, to the latest car, sports, and men's related magazines, it's all here. Better Homes and Gardens and Ladies Home Journal are not allowed."
