ANTHONY Mundine claims boxing archrival Danny Green should be thanking him for “making (Green) a millionaire”.

And ‘The Man’ says Green is “a bit arrogant” while Mundine is a “down to earth cat” that has been portrayed incorrectly in the public eye.

Meanwhile, Mundine entered the South African jungle and joined the cast of Channel 10s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here as the show’s first ‘intruder’.

It’s been rumoured in recent weeks that Green might be dropped into the jungle to join Mundine and other contestants for the program.

“They better not,” Mundine quipped on Monday night.

The two boxers have met twice in the ring, with Mundine winning the opening bout in 2006 before Green scored a controversial win in the re-match in 2017.

Mundine was asked by fellow contestants why he held so much disdain for Green.

“I’m not angry. I just think he’s a dick, bro,” Mundine said on Channel 10.

“He should be thanking me for making him a millionaire … He should be thanking me.

“I don’t know him personally, but my judgment of him — boxing is close, a lot of people know a lot of people — what I hear about him, he’s a bit arrogant. I’m a down to earth cat.

“I’m the opposite to what they portray me to be. I give everybody time, I never say no to an autograph — but he would. He’s one of them type of dudes.

“I’ve seen him first-hand. People take photos and he goes ‘delete that, delete that’ — you’re in the public life, delete what?”

But those weren’t the only Mundine comments that ruffled feathers on Monday night, with the former rugby league player

“I just kick back and relax while the women clean, that is my attitude,” Mundine said.

“I am bringing old-fashioned back. There’s equality but there’s roles. The men hunt, the men provide everything and the women, they just do the domestic duties — that is all.”

Understandably, Mundine’s comments sparked immediate outrage.

“Are you serious? Did you just get out of the 50s?” model Simone Holtznagel said.
