Trainer of the Year now with Minto Camp

By Keith Terceira

During his recent appearance on Ten Count Radio with Keith Terceira, heavyweight Brian Minto announced that Bruce Seldon is out of the fight with him in Butler, Pennsylvania on August 14th.

Replacing "The Atlantic City Express" (40-7, 36KO) will be "The Real Touch of Sleep" Donnell Holmes (31-0, 27KO).

Ranked 15th by the WBO Holmes is coming off three consecutive second round TKO’s and has already fought twice this year after being idle for most of 2007 and 2008 .

Minto speaking in the Round Table on Ten Count added

“The WBO wouldn’t approve Seldon and I really didn’t want to fight that fight. “I’m going to be the biggest step up for Holmes to date, I think his biggest win his been Stacy Frasier and I’m not taking a backward step. I got a new trainer on as well so I have a few tricks up my sleeve still”

Further added to the news already shared, Minto announced that he has changed trainers and his new trainer is the BWAA Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach.
