Adrien Broner will be the next target of Mexico's Miguel Vazquez if he is able to overcome Erick Bone this Saturday in San Antonio, Texas in the main event of a TGB Promotions that will be broadcast by Fox Sports.

Vazquez wants to make a name for himself at junior welterweight after winning a world title at lightweight.

If Vazquez (35-5, 13 KOs) is unable to get a fight with Broner (32-2, 24 KOs), then I would go with the winner of the fight between Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter who will fight on June 25 in New York.

"I know with Bone (16-3, 8 KOs) will be a tough fight because he will want to push me, but I'm preparing for all kinds of pressure. I'm fine and I think I will win. I must not fall into overconfidence because I know he's a fighter who knows that win will provide him with a good opportunity," Vazquez said to ESPN Deportes.

"I'm at 140 pounds because my body is unable to keep the weight down. I felt it was my time to jump up to another division and look for other opportunities, I was already feeling worn down making 135 pounds."

"I hope Mr. Haymon will give me the opportunity to fight Broner. I like that fight because he is a fighter who has reached a very good level and I have always wanted to fight him, but I never received the chance.

"I know that in my last fight (against Rances Barthelemy) did not go well, but I know that winning this I will get me opportunities, and if not against Broner then I would go into a fight with Keith Thurman or Shawn Porter. I'm willing to go to 147 pounds to show them that I can compete at the highest level."
