According to the AAP, Michael Katsidis will decide over the next few days whether to accept a rematch with British boxer Graham Earl. Katsidis stopped Earl in a five-round war in London, widely regarded as the best fight of 2007, during which both boxers were floored. Katsidis is determined to return in the fall in Australia. Earl, who hasn't fought for almost two years, has called for a rematch.

Katsidis's trainer and manager Brendon Smith said a rematch of the memorable Wembley Arena clash could be a great fight. In his last fight, Katsidis lost a unanimous points decision to Robert Guerrero in a interim lightweight world title fight in Las Vegas last month.

"We'll make a decision in the next couple of days on this particular fight," Smith told AAP. "Basically (it's) weighing up the best fight that makes the most sense for Michael. We turned down Las Vegas for his next one, because it's time to do one here."
