Former champion boxer Michael Katsidis (31-7, 24KOs) has pleaded guilty to possession of an ice pipe.

The 35-year-old two-time former WBO interim lightweight world champion was arrested and charged after police found the pipe during a traffic stop at Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia.

Katsidis plead guilty at Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday [Australia time] and has been put on a three-month good behavior bond and was also ordered to undergo drug counseling.

The fighter retired last October after a two round knockout loss to Tommy Coyle, but then announced his return to the ring in early 2015 and return he did, in March, to decision Rodynie Rafol. He was scheduled to face Kaewfah Tor Buamas in September but the fight fell apart. Katsidis has lost five of his last nine fights.
