In the evening’s opening bout, cruiserweight Ismayl Sillakh (10-0, 9KOs) had an easy time dispatching of Cincinnati southpaw Julius Jackson (3-6), just 1:27 into the opening round. Sillakh scored at will to the head and body with jabs before landing a fight ending left hook against the ropes.   Jackson barely beat referee Russel Mora’s ten count but was in no condition   to continue.

In a surprisingly competitive super featherweight contest Diego Magdaleno (13-0) won a unanimous decision over a game Gerardo Robles. The scores were 78-74 and a questionable 80-72. Robles landed a lot of heavy punches  in the 1st 2 rounds. Magdaleno started to make adjustments in the 3rd round. He landed a lot of low blows that weren't called starting in the 2nd round  The middle rounds weren't as eventful except for the low blows. The Las Vegan Magdaleno came out and rocked Robles in the 7th but didn't have the power to put him away but Magdaleno was able to cruise to victory.

Dynamite prospect Jose Benavidez launched fireworks in his pro debut. An overmatched Steven Cox (1-1) was sent to the floor after being hit with a stiff left jab. He rose from the canvas but he clearly wasn't going to survive the round and the fight was called to a hault at the 1:21 mark of the 1st round.   Keep an eye out for Mexican American superstar in the making.

In what seemed to be a fight in Kassim Ouma's favor, junior middleweight prospect Vanes Martirosyan was awarded a ten round unanimous decision. The scores were 97-92, 97-93, 97-93. Ouma appeared to be in control and even scored a knockdown in the eight round.

In the evening’s walkout bout, Las Vegas resident Anthony Lenk (6-1, 3KO) outclassed Nebraska’s Dusten Guillemin (3-5, 1KO), scoring a 59-55 (twice), 58-56 unanimous decision over six rounds.  Guillemin managed a flash knockdown in the final round for a brief glimmer of hope, motivating southpaw Lenk to punctuate his one sided victory with his best arsenal of punches.
