The only reason former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1, 40KOs) is willing to remain in boxing is to get a rematch with WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12KOs). Nacho Beristain, the trainer of Marquez, has stated that his prized pupil will only remain in the sport to face Bradley. The Mexican star has no interest in any other fight, says Nacho. Last month, Bradley won a close twelve round split decision over Marquez in Las Vegas. Marquez felt he was robbed on a win.

Nacho said: "I talked to Juan Manuel. He said that he has thought about his career and he believes that the only thing that is attractive to stay in the ring is a rematch with Bradley. He would like to do that fight in Mexico. He wants to speak with Zanfer and Top Rank  in order to bring it to the Arena in Mexico City. But if not, Juan is ready to go wherever he is told, to America, wherever they want to do that battle. Marquez is not interested in another fight against Manny Pacquiao or any other opponent. If he does not get Bradley, he will retire from boxing."
