Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs) is gaining a lot of support from fighters, as in recent days the vast majority of experts are siding with him to unseat WBA/WBO/IBF light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs).

Ward is going to face Kovalev in a highly anticipated fight on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Three Mexican legends spoke with ESPN Deportes and gave their takes on the upcoming fight.

Former world champions Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales discussed the fight - and all three of them sided with Ward.

Juan Manuel Marquez: "It can be a great fight. The style of Kovalev is aggressive. Hopefully it's not a bad fight, and it's a great fight - because if Ward decides to run and manage the distance then the fight will be boring . It depends on Ward on the kind of fight that we'll see, but I still think he will win by decision."

Erik Morales: "I would be inclined slightly to Andre Ward, who is a more methodical fighter and has patience, but I think it's a fight very even and any mistake can cost you dearly. Andre can not afford a single luxury like in such an important fight."

Marco Antonio Barrera: "I think Kovalev can win with the impressive record he has, but I lean slightly to Ward [to win], because he has accumulated a lot of experience in big fights, although I must say it is a tough fight for both."
