Oracle Arena, Oakland, California - Heavyweight contender Malik Scott (35-0, 12KOs) stopped Bowie Tupou (22-2, 16KOs) in the eight round of a very lackluster fight. There was very little action and neither fighter did anything impressive. In the eight round, Tupou indicated to the referee that his arm was hurt. After the doctor checked out the injury, the fight was waved off.

Ricardo Williams Jr. (20-3, 10KOs) won a six round majority decision over Anthony Lenk (14-2, 7KOs). The scores were 57-57, 58-56, 58-56. The fight itself had action, but Williams outhustled Lenk in several rounds by landing the better punches and put his combinations together much better. The fight was likely contested at a max weight of 144, since both boxers weighed in at 143.5-pounds.

Heavyweight contender Franklin Lawrence (18-2-2, 13KOs) pounded Homero Fonseca (9-6-3, 2KOs) for seven rounds before the referee waved the fight off.
