The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association has called purse bids for three fights that exceeded the deadline for reaching an agreement.

The first is the fight between Luis Ortiz (25-0, 22KO) and Alexander Ustinov (33-1, 24KO) for interim heavyweight title. The second will is the clash pitting Jack Culcay (22-1, 11KO) against Demetrius Andrade (23-0, 16KO) for the junior middleweight crown, and finally Rau'shee Warren (14-1, 4KO) of the United States against Britain's Jamie McDonnell (28-2-1, 13KO) for the bantamweight super championship.

All three fights will be auctioned on August 15, 2016 at 11 am at the offices of the WBA  located at Av. Aquilino de la Guardia and Calle 47, Ocean Business Plaza Building, 14th floor, Office 14-05, Marbella , Panama City, Panama. It will be directed by the Director of the WBA and treasurer of the entity, Fiengo.

Ortiz and Ustinov were called to negotiate earlier this year to comply with the WBA's heayyweight tournament to establish a sole champion. However, they having been trying to reach an agreement since February 4 and yet it has not been possible.

"King Kong" as he is known to the American audience, is acting interim-king since 2015, when he beat Matía Vidondo by knockout in the third round. While the European fighter has not fought since last December when he scored a fifth round knockout over Konstantin Airich.

Meanwhile, Culcay and Andrade were called to a purse bid on July 14 and the parties have not been able to agree.

Culcay is the current king of 154 pounds after being promoted from interim to regular champion after winning last April over Venezuelan Jean Carlos Prada. While Andrade ranks first under the WBA at junior middleweight.

Meanwhile, Warren and McDonell were notified on June 30 that they should agree to fight or be called to a purse bid.

Warren is the super champion at 118-pounds and the title he won on June 18 by winning a majority decision over Dominican Juan Carlos Payano - and McDonell is the 'regular' champion since winning the title in 2014 over Tabtimdaeng Rachawat by TKO in the tenth assault.
