Former world champion Liam Smith would love to get his own measure of revenge against Chris Eubank Jr. in a trilogy fight.

In January, Smith stunned the Manchester crowd by knocking Eubank out in four rounds.

Most observers had expected him to win again in their contracted rematch, but it was Eubank who dazzled the Manchester fans last Saturday night.

He controlled nearly every round of the contest, with knockdowns scored in the fourth and tenth. After dropping Smith for a second time, Eubank unleashed a barrage of punches to force a stoppage in round ten.

Afterwards, Smith revealed that he struggled to get down in weight with a drastic cut of over 40-pounds to get down to the middleweight limit of 160.

Now he wants the tiebreaker.

"This is obviously Chris' night. I had my night in January," Smith said. "I'm not taking nothing away from Chris this time round. This is his night.

"It's 1-1 now, so let's see what happens next. It's 1-1. That doesn't settle nothing for me."

Eubank is under no obligation to stage a third fight, but he's willing to entertain the possibility if the public demand is there. The demand will be tough to come by with such a dominant performance in the second meeting.

"It is 1-1. If the fans want to see a third fight," Eubank added, "you know me - I don't back down from a challenge."

After Saturday's fight, Eubank called for several possible opponents - including undefeated welterweight Conor Benn and former world champions Kell Brook and Gennadiy Golovkin. Both Benn and Brook were ringside and embraced the possibility of stepping in the ring Eubank for the right deal.
