Laila Ali, former champion and daughter of Hall of Fame heavyweight legend Muhammad Ali, was a guest on the CBS Sports show We Need To Talk where she discussed Floyd Mayweather’s showdown on Saturday night aith Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Laila says she is friendly with Mayweather, but also had some choice words about his character and personality.

Mayweather had recently stated, in more than one interview, that he was the best fighter of all time - and specifically better than Laila's famous father.

“There have been times I’ve wanted to reach out to him and have a conversation with him, because I see a little boy even though he’s a grown man. I see a broken person. I know when you have money and you have ‘power’ and you have all these yes people around you, sometimes you don’t have that person to pull you aside and give it to you straight," Laila said.

"So every once in awhile, I’m just like, ‘You know what? I need to reach out to Floyd and I need to have a conversation with him.’ Because I don’t hate him. I dislike the way that he acts. I dislike the way that he treats people. And obviously, I’m definitely not down with this beating on women because that’s very cowardly. But…he needs somebody to reach out to him and guide him.”
