German newspaper Bild recently published some interesting information about the money being made by the Klitschko brothers. According to the tabloid, WBO/IBF champion Wladimir and WBC champion Vitali are the richest European boxers, which, of course, is logical considering the fact that they are the strongest heavyweights not only in Europe but in the world.

According to Bild, both brothers make approximately 7-10 million euros for each bout. 3 million euros comes from the German broadcasting company RTL, while 30-second commercial between rounds costs a hefty 99,000 euros. Each boxer receives 2 million more from different ad contracts.

Bild calls the Klitschko brothers “moneymaking machines” and role models for other European boxers who still haven’t reached such success.
