Recently, super middleweight champion Andre Ward made a prediction that IBF champ Carl Froch will win Saturday's unification rematch with Mikkel Kessler in London. Ward further said that he would not be surprised if Froch pulled off the victory with a knockout win. Kessler took offense to Ward's comments and responded. Ward holds victories over both me, winning a technical decision over Kessler in 2009 and a twelve round decision over Froch in 2011.

"I disagree with what Ward said, that's obvious. Ward is saying a lot of stupid things. [After Froch], we can do a rematch with him, but it is by no means a sure thing that a broadcaster will buy the fight because Ward cannot sell a ticket due to his fighting style. [But] I don't care about Ward. All I care about is Carl Froch this Saturday," Kessler said.
