It's Mission Thailand for Mexican boxer Juan "Churritos" Hernandez who is now in Bangkok to fight for the vacant World Boxing Council flyweight title.

"Churritos", ranked number two in the world, is scheduled to fight local hero Nawaphon Kaikanha, on March 4th for the vacant belt.

"I feel very happy with the trip. I know that we are the visitors, but we feel satisfied with the opportunity of making my dream come true," said the boxer, accompanied by his team.

Although he already had title shot in August 2011, when he lost in Japan against the very talented Kazuto Ioka for the WBC minimumweight crown, a more mature Juan considers his this upcoming  fight to be a significantly more important opportunity.

"I'm at my peak as a boxer and I have to take advantage of this," said Juan, who is riding a five-year streak without a single defeat. The streak has produced  15 consecutive victories.

Hernandez says he is motivated by the people who came to wish him good luck. And this type of inspirational support has given him the strength to win, and made push through and withstand the painstaking work that was done with trainers Jorge Barrera and Isaac "Tortas" Bustos.

"We did a great job and although [the Thai boxer] is an excellent fighter, who has everything in his favor. I'm just one step away from achieving my golden dream, so nothing and nobody can stop me.  I will do everything possible to return home as WBC champion, I have visualized this outcome and part of achieving this is to believe it," Hernandez said.

Hernandez is well aware that his best chance to win is to prevent the fight from heading to the scorecards. He added that with an aggressive boxing style he will start looking for the knockout in the very first round, vowing - "This fight is for Mexico and Mexicans."
