Jonathan Barros, the world featherweight titlist of the World Boxing Association, has vowed to punish former champion Celestino "Pelecnhin" Caballero on Saturday night in Mendoza. Barros became enraged after hearing some of Caballero's pre-fight trash talk, including - "I want [Barros] to stand and fight like a man. I do not want him to run like a cat from a mouse. I'll hit him as hard as I hit Molitor."

"I saw a note where he says he will give me hard as he hit Molitor (who Caballero stopped in four). Pelenchín always says the same thing, and it seems that [Molitor] was the only boxer who has been hit.  I am the world champion and I plan to remain so. I have no fear of him. I fought Gamboa. Why would I be afraid of him? Who is Pelenchín? I think Gamboa is several levels above Caballero. I do not think he's seen me in any videos because I'm used to boxing, not running," Barros said.
