Dmitriy Salita, promoter for heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller, explains that his boxer must make good on his big moment on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, where he faces top contender Daniel Dubois.

Dubois, a former WBA 'regular' champion, was knocked out in August by unified champion Oleksandr Usyk.

Miller has been rebuilding his career since 2019 - after losing out on a big opportunity to face Anthony Joshua. Miller was pulled from the bout after testing positive for several performance enhancing drugs.

The PED debacle generated a large stint of inactivity where Miller was away from the ring from November 2018 until June of 2022.

Since returning, Miller has built up a three fight win streak.

Salita believes his man will come away with a knockout victory.

"This is a great opportunity for Jarrell against Daniel Dubois in his toughest fight on paper but it’s a big opportunity to rehabilitate himself and show he is an elite fighter. It’s a big test for [Miller] on December 23. However, I think he stops Daniel Dubois," Salita said.

Since the announcement of the big Saudi event, Miller has been trading words with Joshua, who headlines the card against Otto Wallin.

Salita believes a Joshua vs. Miller encounter would create a big fight atmosphere.

"There is genuine dislike between the two, a genuine rivalry and history that goes back to 2018 when they were supposed to fight in Madison Square Garden in Anthony’s first fight in the United States. In the lead up, a lot of things were said with some physical things pushing and shoving. It’s been brewing for a long time but if it happens that would be amazing for the sport," Salita said.

"The fight can happen anywhere in the world and is very likely if Anthony Joshua beats Deontay Wilder - the next big fight is either Tyson Fury or Jarrell Miller. That is something that can add a lot of flavor. Obviously Deontay Wilder is more accomplished and a former heavyweight champion of the world, but Jarrell is one of the most colorful fighters in boxing. Match that personality up with being healthy and clean, he has superstar potential and I believe he will take advantage of this opportunity. Anthony doesn’t have a great chin and Jarrell is a big guy and power punch, so he definitely has the ability to knock out Anthony Joshua."
