The war of words between Youtube star/influencer Jake Paul’s team and former UFC champion Tyron Woodley has continued to heat up. There certainly is no love lost between both camps and Paul’s trainer BJ Flores fired the latest salvo.

Woodley and Paul are scheduled to square off on August 29th on a Showtime pay-per-view main event. Paul recently signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime and this fight will be his debut with the premium network.

Paul has trained in the sport almost nonstop for close to two years.  At one time Woodley was a top fighter in the UFC but those days are long behind him.

Flores believes that it won’t take long for Woodley to realize that he is in over his head when they step in the ring.

“We are talking about a guy who does not understand boxing. He doesn't comprehend that boxing is different than MMA and his ego won't allow him to wrap his head around the fact that Jake is superior in every category except experience,” said Flores. “I have seen Jake in the gym, do hundreds of rounds against very good professionals for almost 24 months. If he wasn't ready for Tyron, I would be the first to say it.”

The 24-year-old Paul has won all three of his professional fights by knock out and has been stepping up his level of competition with every fight.

Flores doesn’t think Paul needs to gain any more experience to beat Woodley and said that he is ready to fight him right now.

“The truth is we can fight him tomorrow, next Saturday, four weeks from now or any day that he chooses. We will take him apart and violently knock him out. I will be shocked if this fight goes three rounds,” Flores told BoxingScene.com.
